Pop singer, actor, and composer, Kenji Sawada (aka Julie) is posed in this 1979 Parco poster.
Kenji Sawada was famously known for his Bold style and elaborate disguises. For this campaign, however, art director Eiko Ichioka decided to strip away those layers. Her goal was to try to get him to forget his fame, and just be one of the boys.
